A restaurant's Google profile had 95,000 views and only 262 menu taps

Almost 95,000 people saw one Thai restaurant on Google in six months. Only 262 opened the menu. The menu button pointed to a page that no longer existed.

What I built

I saved the before-numbers first (six months of Google Business Profile performance), then fixed the profile: the menu link now points to the restaurant's own menu page, the order link points to its own ordering page, the business name matches what's on the sign, and the hours are correct. I also fixed the page titles on the restaurant's website so Google stops showing an old spelling of the name.

Why

Nobody had looked at the buttons a customer actually taps. The food was fine and people were finding the restaurant. They just could not reach the menu, so they went next door. It is the kind of problem you only find by tapping your own profile on a phone.

What changed

Too early for a number. I compare the same six-month window a month after the fix and I'll post the comparison here, whatever it says.
